| Welcome to the history of Eaton’s Gifts and More in Monrovia, California. The store opened November 24, 2006 owned by mother and daughter, Jill Super and Courtney Scantlin respectively. We had dreamed of being part of a much-needed, eclectic gift shop in a unique city like Monrovia for many years and the timing was finally right. We knew immediately what we would choose for our name. What better than to name our new venture in memory of our late father/grandfather, Donald Eaton Newcomer. He always loved his middle name, Eaton, especially since it was family. |

| His brother, sisters, aunts, cousins, and nephews settled in the upper Hastings area in Pasadena and the Eaton Canyon area, as well as in North San Gabriel, with many streets named after relatives, Willard, Ruthlee, etc. What an honor to have this endeavor in memory of him and his family. |

| OUR MISSION |

| Hoping to appeal to everyone, we opened our store with a desire for people to find a gift for anyone. There has been such a positive reaction thus far, with one customer after another commenting that ours is that store they have been searching for in their immediate area and that it is so nice to have something like Eaton’s in their backyard. How great not to have to travel west to find that special gift. Not only is it finding that perfect item, but when our customers find that special gift presentation touched off with sprigs of fresh lavender, they are already looking forward to their next visit. So much of the wonderful experience for us is not only a pleased customer but a customer we have begun to know. |
